Affordable Legal Documents

There is a need for assistance drafting legal paperwork. It is always in a person’s best interest to have an attorney for his or her court case. Many people are simply not able to afford the cost of an attorney, and they get steamrolled in the court system.

  • Custody goes to whichever party could afford a lawyer;
  • Divorces get put off, sometimes for decades, because neither party could afford a lawyer;
  • Small claims don’t get filed, because there isn’t enough money in it to justify hiring a lawyer, and people don’t know how to do it for themselves;
  • When a person actually tries to file something on his or her own behalf (“pro se”), the courts struggle to process it, because the proper legal paperwork has not been filed.

This business offers a more affordable product, limited scope legal drafting by a licensed attorney, that will allow individuals to file proper legal pleadings in their cases on their own without the cost of retaining an attorney.

You Need to Know:

This law firm will have a real live, licensed attorney practicing in the State of Missouri prepare and review your paperwork before submitting it to you, so that you know that what you are filing with the court is legally appropriate and proper, and contains all the necessary documents to achieve your goal in your Missouri court case.

Of course it is always best to hire an attorney, and the choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely on advertisements. But we also recognize that sometimes, people simply cannot afford counsel, and court cases sometimes cannot wait. This law firm prepares personalized, limited scope legal drafts for people to represent themselves in the State of Missouri. This law firm will not be representing the people for whom it has drawn up paperwork in court, and this law firm cannot guarantee the outcome of any court case.

How it works

We are in the process of creating a new, online source for legal documents. At this time, our options are primarily limited to divorce and custody cases. Under the Services page, several packages are offered, for various kinds of cases, and the time frame in which you would like your paperwork completed. If you wish to purchase a package, there is a link to a form that can be found on the services page. Fill out and submit that form, and a Letter of Understanding and link for payment will be emailed to you. Once those have been received, a second and much longer form will be emailed to you for you to input detailed case information. Once that long form has been submitted, we will get started putting together your paperwork.

In your selected timeframe, you will receive complete drafts ready for you to file with the applicable courthouse for your case. We will not be representing you in court. You will receive instructions about where to sign and where to file, etc., and you will be ready to get started!

We recognize that your case is incredibly important to you! Be patient, we will get your paperwork drawn up. We do not anticipate a substantial amount of communication between the lawyer and the customer outside of the necessary forms, unless we need to reach out for more details from you. If you are needing frequent consultations, you might consider hiring an attorney the old-fashioned way.

The Lawyer 4 Me will prepare the documents you need for you to handle your Missouri court case on your own, for a nominal fee, without the cost of retaining an attorney to represent you in court.

"Outstanding attorney

Kimberly takes the time to listen, get to know you and understand the situation. She treats you with respect and helps however she can."

"Petitioned the court with wrong doings the Children's Division have done.

No matter how big an agency is or how important they believe they are; they too have laws they must abide by in the justice system. There is a higher power over the Children's Division and it's attorney Kim Kollmeyer and the judge in the court of law. Kim petitioned the court with four motions against the Children's Division for being bias, reporting untruths without validating the source, then presenting the untruths as being true. Children's Division has denied me any contact with my grandson and limited contact for my daughter with her son. I feel Children's Division gets away with too much and they are "bullies" because they continue their actions. Kim wants Children's Division in court to testify under oath before the judge. This is why the motions have been filed. Kim is an amazing attorney and I highly recommend her."

"Wonderful attorney to have on your side!!!

Kim has done a superb job representing me in my criminal matters. She had a daunting task of working with 4 jurisdictions to take care of my probation violations and new charges at the same time. She successfully fought for a bond reduction for me while I was incarcerated, allowing me to fight my cases from the outside. She was worked very hard while representing me, keeping me well informed the entire time. I definitely would recommend her to anyone who needs good representation on any criminal/family law matter."

"Excellent Lawyer

Kimberly Kollmeyer is an excellent attorney. She was able to take care of several high level felonies that were falsely filed and get them dismissed. She had to travel long distance to take care of this and was always there early to discuss any concerns we had before the court dates. It was a very long case and she was constantly in contact with me over any questions I had. Through her hard work and knowledge she turned what seemed like an impossible case into a wonderful outcome."
